The National Heart Foundation of Australia recommends that we consume 500 mg of omega-3 fatty acids per day from oily fish (2-3 serves a week) or fish oil capsules or enriched food and drinks. CoQ10 is produced in the body with only a small amount found in the diet. However our ability to produce CoQ10 declines with age.
